About GAIVS GRACCHVS
You may know Gaius Gracchus as the famous Roman tribune. But here, GAIUS GRACCHUS stands for the General Association Instituted at the University of Sydney for Greek and Roman, Ancient and Classical, Cultural and Historical University Studies. The society is for the students of Classics and/or Ancient History at the University of Sydney and for those who are interested in the ancient world. What we doGG organises many social events such as trivia nights, toga parties, barbeques and annual dinners. GG also provides information about up-coming lectures on topics in ancient history and publishes a regular newsletter called Tiberius Gracchus, after the brother of Gaius Gracchus.How to joinTo become a member, come and visit our Orientation Week stall. There is a small membership fee and you will also need an USU Access card. As a paying member, you will receive a discount on tickets to GG events.
